About Me...
My love of cats began one Christmas Eve with a little kitten named Jingles and a rather clever plan.
My sister and I had always wanted a cat, but our mother's allergies made that seem impossible. So when a friend offered my sister a kitten, a secret plan was hatched. The kitten was left in a box on our doorstep, the doorbell rang, and the would-be gift givers disappeared!
Startled, the kitten escaped into the garage, where my mother eventually found and rescued her. We begged to keep her, and thankfully, Mom said yes. As it turned out, Jingles became her cat, and the two were inseparable.
Not long afterward, I bought my very own kitten, Pooh Bear, for exactly $5.35 — every penny I had saved in my piggy bank.
Those two little kittens began my lifelong love of cats and an appreciation for their wonderfully unique personalities.
Today, that love is at the heart of The Curious Cat Company. As a Fear Free® Certified pet care professional, I provide thoughtful, personalized care that respects each cat's individual needs, routines, and comfort.
Because to me, caring for cats has always been about more than simply looking after them. It's about earning their trust and making them feel safe, respected, and loved.
